We take the time to get to know each of our clients — from their staff and brand to their services and customers and, incredibly importantly, how they like their scones, building a deep familiarity and a trusting partnership.

Vera: “The very best graphic design jobs are the ones where I have freedom to be creative, where the design can flow and develop organically and where clients put their trust in me and the process.
Working with Fika allowed me to do exactly that. The broad nature of their business meant I needed to find a way to create separate identities for each part of their offer, while also keeping a strong synergy to the overall brand. The outcome was a really fun, funky and retro brand which played with colour to symbolise the different arms of their business.
Oh, and the fact that Fika is all about coffee… - automatically a winner!”

Liz: “Actuality’s hero video stands out as a for me, as although they knew exactly what they wanted to achieve, they were struggling to understand how to achieve it.
I took their script and rewrote it from a strategic perspective, with their audience and goals in mind, built a storyboard and then shot the video to truly reflect their brand story.
Actuality’s offer involves complex new technology, so it was vital to highlight this visually. Using our strategic expertise, specialised filming equipment and some editing tricks, we exceeded their expectations and they were thrilled with the finished video.”

About our story
The who, the why and all the C…and i words.
In 2011 after Christchurch wobbled, Elizabeth was offered a marketing contract within the tourism industry. Together with her Dad; Laurie, a very successful owner-operator of elevator component company Cirrus International Ltd, they created Cirrus International - Marketing.
Fast forward to now… the values, passion and drive are still the same, but the team is bigger, the offer is much broader and the name has been tweaked a little. Years of building and refining our offer and brand have led C i Marketing to where we are now.
To us, the C and i speak volumes as to who we are and what we stand for: Creative - innovative - Collaboration - insights - Content - inspirational - Connect – impressions - Consistency - ideas - Coffee - inspire.

Managing Director & Photographer
Owner and imagery production manager & photographer, Liz often connects with clients in the early stages of our relationships. She loves finding the perfect combo between the art & science of imagery for our clients, visually showcasing their offer in a high quality, creative, unique and consistent way ensuring they stand out in the busy marketing landscape.
In her spare time (not that she has much!), you will probably still find Liz with a camera in her hand, or singing barbershop with the Christchurch City Chorus, competing internationally representing New Zealand.

Copy & Strategy Manager
Our strategist and words guru, Emily loves to help businesses cement their strategic marketing direction. A true believer in when you do things strategically, marketing success will follow, Emily will challenge you to flip your thinking and view your brand from your customers perspective to gain insight into how to connect with them in a meaningful way.
Often the first one to meet you, she will kick start the relationship and make you feel right at home. When she’s not in the office, drinking copious amounts of coffee or talking the hind leg off a donkey, you will find her cheering on her kids from the sidelines, or in Hagley Park where she loves walking and biking with her family.

Brand & Design Manager
Our graphic designer and overall brand & campaign manager, Vera is passionate about working closely with clients to truly get to know them before she starts to develop, cement and aesthetically communicate their offer. She loves being part of their journey from inception to completion - the problem solving, the inevitable learnings and the creative collaborative outcomes.
Bringing an undeniable international flair to the team, you will find Vera out and about exploring NZ (her tent always readily packed!),
or deep in conversation with anyone who can help fulfil her need for learning new things, be it DIY, software or the latest foodie haven to check out.

Content Creator & Office Manager
Stephanie is our creative content specialist for direct marketing campaigns, social media, and a vital part of our creative strategy team. Also responsible for our internal marketing and office admin, she's quite simply our all-rounder and the one who keeps us in check… and fuelled with her delicious baking!
Steph’s expertise shines when it comes to crafting and analysing DM campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences. When not smashing out exceptional content and keeping clients satisfied, you’ll find her spending quality time with her three daughters, attending dance classes or running on the Port Hills, soaking in the beauty of her surroundings.

Website Development
Our Front-end web developer, Jahan thrives on creating functional and engaging digital experiences. His passion lies in developing websites to authentically represent clients' offers, transforming their digital dreams into reality. With a strong background in Java development, Jahan ensures a smooth user journey.
Besides being a programming guru, Jahan’s our resident coffee ‘go to’, due to his ability to create the best crema and milk designs. When he’s not whipping up a milk storm or creating websites,
you will catch him ‘networking’ on the golf course, ranking his favourite pizza joints, or carving it up at a pool table anywhere in Canterbury.

Our videographer and editor for promotional videos, Wayne is dedicated to creating exceptional high quality marketing videos for all digital uses.
A highly skilled and experienced ground and aerial videographer, Wayne draws on his extensive storytelling experience and brings his creative ‘bigger picture’ thinking to each client project. He has a love for creating amazing imagery, sharing the videos he creates with his clients and watching their faces light up!
When he’s not filming, editing or indulging in great coffee, you’ll generally find him out on his motorcycle taking in the stunning countryside views
